I had a fantastic experience at the West in Pasadena. As I walked the hallways on my way to the workout room or on my way to the restaurant, I was greeted by staff pleasantly. Everyone was very helpful and cooperative and attentive to my needs. The restaurant staff were exceptional and very willing to cater to the needs of the guests. I was just simply impressed by the helpful, calm, and happy disposition of everybody here. It's an excellent place to stay, right in the heart of Pasadena. Beautiful area and within walking distance to a lot of great coffee shops and local attractions. Would definitely recommend and will stay here again for sure!

The rooms were a bit old, but they were functional. The beds were quite short though - I’m 6’1 and my feet stuck over the edge of the bed. Amenities like slippers / toothbrushes are available on request, though it would be even better if they were included in the rooms themselves. The location was very good for walking around downtown Pasadena / food. Parking was terrible though - I utilized the self parking ($19), but since I stayed for a bit over 24 hours, they charged me $38.

Our family has stayed at this hotel for many years when visiting Pasadena and we always enjoy our stay. Some of our favorite things about the Westin Pasadena is the location, the gym, the staff and the restaurant (especially for breakfast). The gym has a beautiful view of the mountains and is well equipped with modern equipment and dumbbells. It has a nice layout with very high ceilings (over 12') and lots of glass to see the view. Everything you need for a good work out is in this gym. The staff is more than helpful with all our needs - from extra towels to late check in / out. The valet car service is easy and reliable. The morning staff at the restaurant is attentive and helpful. At our last stay in May of 2026, Giulia, Norman, and Reggie took excellent care of us at each of our early breakfast meals. While we were there the manager of the hotel checked in with us to ask about our stay and we shared our history and fondness for this hotel. The restaurant is great and has a excellent breakfast with your own coffee carafe and cream pitcher. The portions are large and the food taste delicious. You can sit in the restaurant or outside in the breezeway which is beautiful in the morning (not too hot). The restaurant is also quick for those in a hurry. Check it out - a great place to stay in Pasadena !

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Westin Pasadena, and it was truly an outstanding experience from start to finish. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a very nice upgrade to a suite, which made the stay feel extra special. The room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and maintained to the high standards I expect from the Westin brand. The service throughout the hotel was top-notch. I spent time at both the on-site restaurant and the bar, and the staff in both venues were exceptional The hotel is situated in a beautiful part of town, offering a perfect base for exploring. It is conveniently located just steps away from the historic City Hall and the vibrant fountain plaza, making it ideal for sightseeing.

My stay at The Westin Pasadena was quite enjoyable from start to end and even beyond. For starters, I arrived at check-in to find out I had booked the wrong dates. Mya and Carlos were so understanding and accommodating to still find a lovely room across the hall from my travel companion. Next, Sergio at The Ventanas Restaurant and Bar was so kind and helpful with my order for my team and even packaged everything so that I could get it up to my room. Speaking of rooms, my room was beautiful. The room was spacious, the temperature was perfect, there was ample lighting, the blackout shade definitely did its job, and there was a nice sized mini fridge to store my food. Nathan who worked the front desk overnight was so patient and kind with my many requests at 2am. After my departure, Vilinkumar, the Director of Front Desk, sent a very heartfelt message thanking me for my visit. That’s classic customer service that’s rare these days. I mentioned a minor inconvenience I had during my stay, and he immediately addressed it with a wonderful accommodation. The Westin Pasadena totally gets it. They know how to treat their guests… like they’re welcomed, valued, and appreciated. I will definitely return to The Westin Pasadena. They’ve gained a lifelong guest.

Positive: Location Negative: Old. 3 star level... at best. Pool was closed for renovations? No fan in the bathroom, raggedy shower curtain. DO NOT EAT AT THE RESTAURANT. Complete waste of money.

I was in the area and my buddy told me good things about the restaurant at this hotel. So I went to the front desk and Vili escorted me to I eat at the Ventanas and introduced me to Norman. He sat me down and gave me some recommendations of their best lunch options. I chose the chicken avocado club and it was delicious! I was so impressed by the service, staff, and quality of food! I will definitely be going back and will probably book a night or two at the hotel just to relax as the atmosphere was really inviting. I have already invited my friends to go back and experience it with me!

We stayed here for 5 nights. Check in was very easy and Roman was informative, polite and easy to talk to. The room was pretty standard for a hotel room. The location was fantastic with a 10 minute walk to Old Town Pasadena. Parking was irritating. You could self park in the underground garage, but the price per hour was outrageous. $8.00 per hour with a maximum of $19. If you wanted to be free and drive in and out you were constantly paying. One day I spent two maximum of $38.00. I could have chosen the Valet service for a maximum of $28. Per day, but in and out with tips didn't sound like something I wanted to do. Old town has some great places to eat and the architecture is gorgeous.
